Commit less. Deliver more.
Make careful promises, then exceed them through the work.
THE STORY
An entrepreneurial mind.
A responsibility to give.
Dr. Ravi Agrawal joined the family commodity business in 2003. The two decades since have been spent widening what the group does, and how it decides.
What follows runs backwards: where the group stands today, then the steps that led there, ending at the first contract.
TODAY · NAGPUR
Dr. Ravi Agrawal is Chairman of the L7 Group of Companies, established in Nagpur in 1974. The group’s businesses run across investment, securities, construction, media, events, software, recruitment and agriculture. Enterprise and service are treated as one commitment rather than two.

Before the group took its present shape, the work moved out of commodities into hospitality, entertainment, recruitment and financial services. Each holding represents a different relationship with a business; an equity holding does not imply operational control.
2005–2006
Expansion into soya bean trading brought new supply chains and customers. Participation in NCDEX and MCX followed in 2006, broadening his exposure to commodity markets. These years shaped an approach built on preparation and a close understanding of every transaction.
2003
Dr. Ravi Agrawal entered the family commodity business while studying commerce. An early contract with the Food Corporation of India for rice and wheat distribution became a defining step. The work demanded an understanding of markets, supply chains, and the discipline to deliver.
